MAPFRE ABRAXAS have appointed Paul Darvill and Chris Codd as Heads of Sales for the Automotive Sector.

Paul joins from Citygate Automotive where he was Group Sales Development Manager. Prior to that he was joint Managing Director at F&I consultancy firm MFPG Ltd and has also held various sales and F&I roles at Inchcape and HR Owen.

Chris has over 27 years experience in the automotive industry in sales management, general management and as a Group F&I Director. He’s worked for some of the most well know names in the industry including Lex, Inchcape, GMAC and Pendragon.

These new appointments give MAPFRE ABRAXAS an even clearer focus on each of its key market segments – namely manufacturers, large dealer groups, smaller-medium sized dealers and brokers.

In their new roles, Chris and Paul will focus primarily on larger dealer groups and manufacturers. This will continue to be complemented by the regionally split, UK wide account management structure that’s already in place to ensure all dealers have the support they need on a day-to-day basis.
