Inside our Training Academy
In these tough economic times, research shows that one of the first things to be cut in order to save money is the staff development budget. The good news is that at MAPFRE ABRAXAS our Training Academy is open to all of our dealer partners and is offered free of charge as part of our overall support package.
Our training covers the full range of MAPFRE ABRAXAS products together with more specific insurance sales training including ‘off the shelf’ workshops for immediate impact as well as bespoke dealer group training modules.
Amanda Massey, Head of Partnership & Distribution at MAPFRE ABRAXAS said “Our training has a proven track record of delivering results. One of our dealer partners had a GAP penetration of 16% when they selected us as their new supplier. We sat down with them and put together a comprehensive training programme, delivered at their sites and in a short space of time the focus on GAP had improved and penetration moved up to 40% leading to a significant increase in profit levels for them.”
The process followed at MAPFRE ABRAXAS is to initially meet with the dealer to firstly discuss their goals and objectives. A Training Needs Analysis is then carried out which then enables us to design a specific training programme based on the dealers unique requirements. A training roll-out plan is then agreed with the dealer and the training delivered and co-ordinated on site by MAPFRE ABRAXAS. Follow up meetings are then held to ensure the learning has been embedded within the dealers business.
